A Bengali Poem: Bondhu,
Written by Shyamal Mondal
English form : Friend.
[ Translation by Ridendick Mitro ]
Yes I dream and will,
So write poetry,
And Mind flies far away,
Then brings themes to me.
I lived without friends,,
So felt loneliness,
Now-a-days I go out
To find some friends.
So, remembering my early,
I do keep searching,
But, none is there for me
To give me placing.
They all are busy there
With self-interest in life,
It is my experience,
They are selfish toe tight.
Each good mind finds friends,
And I am one of them,
But, just friend is imagination
As hidden eyes full of rain.
